This month, we are promoting one of Wisedocs' standout features: Co-Mingled Records. If you've ever experienced the challenge of dealing with inaccurate claimant information within medical records, you know how frustrating and time-consuming it can be.
In my experience as a Registered Nurse, I have seen how co-mingled records could cause delays and inaccurate information for claimants within medical records. Intertwining incorrect information may significantly alter the picture that is painted of the claimant especially when it comes to the claims process.
Our Co-Mingled Records feature tackles this problem by ensuring your medical record review process is accurate and efficient, ensuring the appropriate documentation is included in case review.
Errors in medical records can unfortunately happen at any stage, whether it's when the records are first received or while compiling them for review. These mistakes can affect the outcome of a case or claim, causing setbacks and unnecessary complications both for the review teams, and for the claimant themselves. Co-mingled claims records, where information about multiple claimants are intertwined, can create even bigger problems. This merging of records can cause confusion and slow down the entire review process, making it harder for teams to work efficiently. Misfiled documents can cause misunderstandings and mistakes, which can slow down settling claims and even lead to legal problems.
With our Co-Mingled Records feature, Wisedocs’ technology flags incorrect claimant information found on each document, meaning less time wasted on sorting through inaccurate details and more focus on what truly matters for the case. This feature helps make the whole process smoother and more reliable, giving you peace of mind and giving your team time back when it comes to making strategic decisions.
When a case is created with Wisedocs, the claimant's name is manually added to each submission by our clients. Our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology then scans each document thoroughly, turning unstructured medical documents into searchable records . If the claimant name captured in the document doesn't match the manually inputted name, the document is flagged for review. This way, you can immediately catch and address any instances of mismatched claimant information. It's like having an extra set of eyes to make sure everything is correct, preventing mistakes and misunderstandings in the case review.
Wisedocs’ Co-mingled records can support your firm in various ways:
Wisedocs' Co-Mingled Records feature makes reviewing medical records easier and more accurate. Flagging incorrect claimant information saves time, reduces confusion, and helps prevent mistakes. This feature allows review teams to work more efficiently and ensures that records are correctly sorted, avoiding legal issues and holdups.
