We’re thrilled to officially announce the opening of our new Washington, DC office, signalling a significant milestone in Wisedocs’ continued growth across North America.

We’re thrilled to officially announce the opening of our new Washington, DC office, signalling a significant milestone in Wisedocs’ continued growth across North America. On the heels of the launch of our Toronto HQ last year, our team has been rapidly growing — driven by demand, mission, and momentum — setting our sights on a new strategic location to anchor our presence in the U.S. This new chapter reflects our ongoing commitment to scale and serve our North American client base with an even greater impact.

Wisedocs' Washington, DC Office

A Strategic Step Forward in Washington, DC

Washington, DC has long been a strategic focus for Wisedocs. With a rapidly expanding client base, particularly serving U.S. Federal Government agencies and the public sector such as Workers’ Compensation State Funds, opening a location of our own was the natural next step. Wisedocs team already consists of a strong local team on the ground and establishing a formal presence in the capital marked our next phase of growth.

While we’ve long supported a remote-first workforce across the United States, our past footprint in cities such as Miami didn’t fully align with where our team was concentrated. Washington, DC has emerged as a natural location, home to a growing cluster of Wisedocs team members, a thriving SaaS and federal ecosystem, and many of the government agencies we proudly support.

This new office not only brings us closer to key partners and clients but also reinforces our commitment to serving federal institutions with the speed, accuracy, and intelligence they require from trusted partners such as Wisedocs. This new location poses an exciting opportunity to deepen customer relationships, form strategic partnerships, recruit top talent, and showcase our configurable capabilities in a city that powers some of the world’s most critical operations.

Capitalizing on The Capital

Washington, DC is home to approximately 191,000 federal employees, making up about a quarter of the city's workforce. The city serves as a central hub for federal agencies and their counterparts, positioning the region as a vital center for government and public sector activity. As Wisedocs continues to strengthen our presence in this market segment, Washington, DC serving as home to a significant concentration of federal contractors, represents a strategic opportunity to expand our impact across the government and public sector landscape.

Aside from the public sector, Washington, DC is home to fellow innovative companies, with the district hosting 66 SaaS companies as of 2025. Collectively, the SaaS market in the state generated $1.1 billion in revenue and served over 27 million customers. The strong presence of innovative technology organizations in the region served as a key strategic marker, reinforcing our decision to establish a foothold in the area. In addition to its thriving technology ecosystem, the capital provides valuable access to the U.S. insurance market, a key segment Wisedocs supports, making it an ideal location to expand our reach and impact. With over 5,965 U.S.-based insurance companies representing a total market value of $2.3 trillion in 2025, establishing a presence in the nation’s capital strategically positions Wisedocs to engage more deeply with this critical industry segment.

Rooted in People, Driven by Purpose

Beyond strictly strategic growth, Wisedocs already has deep roots in Washington, DC, with several of our team members forming part of the local workforce. As a hybrid-first organization, expanding in the heart of the capital aligns naturally with how we work. Grounded in our PHIT values—Purpose-Driven, Honest, Intelligent, and Tenacious—we wanted to establish a space that not only supports our mission but also fosters meaningful, cross-functional collaboration. Prioritizing our people remains core to our growth and it was essential for us to build a location and culture where our team feels inspired to show up, connect, and do their best work every day (plus employee pups are always welcome!).
